Telescopic lift trucks
Telescopic forklifts offer versatility and height. These models are equipped with a pronged lift on an arm that extends over the top of the truck. The arm, or crane, is called a telescopic boom. The boom allows the operator to lift the cargo to great heights while maintaining a high degree of control. Standard lift trucks could not move the cargo away from and towards the cab of the forklift, whereas a telescopic forklift can allow that movement. The telescopic forklift is commonly utilized in both agriculture and construction. It is recommended for applications where greater control and lift is required.
A lift truck carton clamp attachments are better in situations needing high volume carton handling. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings which enable the operator to apply uniform clamping force when picking up a load. It is available with a backrest which protects the loads from damage.
A slip sheet attachment fits onto a slip sheet forklift. It is used for storing systems that don't use pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forklift forks. This type of system is useful for overseas shipments and intra-corporate deliveries.
A man basket is a lift platform designed specially to lift employees. The basket attaches to the forks on the forklift, held in with a strap or chain that is to be secured directly to the forklift carriage. The platform has railings to protect the personnel from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are used for fastening the safety harness of the worker.
