Optional Accessories for Your Forklift
Audible Devices - Motion or back-Up Alarms:
Back-up alarms and motion alarms are audio device accessories that produce enough sound so that the noise is heard overtop the noises generated from the forklift itself.
The sound produced by the audio device must be discernible from other audible devices or sounds from the work environment. The sound should also be different from the other sound or audible devices within the work area. The audible device can end up contributing to OSHA noise limitation and to employee noise exposure; hence, care must be taken.
Determine the distance and direction the sound of the audible device is made more difficult due to the use of hearing protection. Audible devices could occasionally get deactivated from employees and operators because they can find them irritating. Furthermore, audible devices can also be objectionable to residents nearby.
Additional Operator & Application Options:
Enclosed Operator Cabs: Operator enclosed cabs help to protect the operator from the elements. They utilize tempered glass so as to avoid injuries. Furthermore, these cabs feature an emergency exit through removing the window. Noise levels are reduced at the operator's ear due to additional sound proofing.
Operator Selectable Performance Modes: For each and every particular application, the operator could choose the performance need. In addition, it enables a supervisor to set the model's maximum performance for an operator who is just starting to learn. Being able to reduce and adjust the unit's maximum performance enables a new operator to learn the machine's operating features in a controlled setting.
Impact Monitor: When the impact monitor is disabled, a supervisor is needed to enable and override the unit. This encourages the operator to be sure to manage the machine in a more controlled way.
Panoramic and Dual Rear View Mirrors: These specific mirrors help to assist the operator in observing the operating space behind the vehicle, and their tail swing area.
