Since 1976, Taylor Machine Works has built, designed and marketed empty container handlers. The "Big Red" line of empty handlers reflects the knowledge and experience gained during those years. The Taylor empty handlers are known as "All American" units because they are engineered and manufactured in the United States. Taylor is consistently on the cutting edge of industrial technology. The company strives to maintain their commitment of engineering and manufacturing the most reliable, best and most productive container handling machinery around, anywhere within the globe.
The company's empty container handlers are outfitted with a huge assortment of masts and attachments so as to better meet your particular needs. The following is a list of models with their standard mast and attachment.
The TECDS-150H Attachment expands to be able to top pick 20 feet throughout 53 feet empty ISO standard containers and empty reefer containers. Any containers measuring more than 40 feet should have standard 40 feet ISO pickup points. The attachment has 4 corner twist-locks as well, electrical signal lights inside the cab, hydraulic slewing and 2 work lights.
Able to handle 2 separate 20 foot or 40 foot empty ISO standard containers at the same time is the ELME attachment. It allows for numerous containers to be stacked on top of each other. In addition, this attachment comes with 4 horizontal twist-locks that insert into the side apertures of the lower container's top corner castings and the upper containers bottom corner castings. The extremely specialized design of the twist-locks enables block stacking to be carried out.
