Heavy Forklifts
With their new series of heavy forklift trucks, Hyundai is aiming for a new customer base. A variety of businesses, from the concrete and natural stone industries, to the steel business, the transportation of heavy goods in the ports and the railway sector are all working with and relying on heavy duty machines. The power and efficiency provided by the models keep operational costs low and offer the best conditions for economical work. These types of equipment could excel in the nearly all tough settings.
Providing the necessary power on all of the large capacity units, the Cummins diesel engine ranges from 162 horse-power to 250 horse-power. TierIII emission standards are met with engines that have 6 cylinders. These models are able to take the truck up to a speed of 35 km/h. It provides for a high climbing ability on rough terrain and steep slopes and offers great acceleration too.
In order to choose 1 of 2 driving modes, the operator could utilize a switch. When in "Power" mode, full power is available for work on tough terrain or heavy loads. In the "STP" mode, the trucks are able to save lots of fuel during light-duty work. Moreover, simply by pressing a switch, the operator could automatically maintain a selected speed without touching the accelerator pedal. This is another fuel saving function. The fully automatic transmission of the forklift gently shifts through the gears, making the machine comfortable to utilize and easy to maneuver.
The well-ventilated cabin offers a spacious and comfortable working place. The cabin combines high performance with fatigue-free work. The powerful heating and air conditioning system helps make sure that the operator is comfortable inside. The cab was designed ergonomically to provide a bird's eye view of all of the controls, adding to the overall safety of the unit. A CD player and an MP3 player put the finishing touches on providing the enjoyable atmosphere that Hyundai machines are supposed to have.
