Lull Telehandlers
Since the year 1959, Lull has been producing telehandlers. Their machinery have been designed for load placement with their patented Stabil-Trak stability system. This system offers much more precise placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers provide a large range of optional attachments and these telehandlers could really help you accomplish your needs, while being safe and efficient at the worksite. When both accuracy and precision are a must, leave it to a Lull telehandler to complete everything you require.
The Future
In order to make rough terrain forklifts as functional as possible, many attachments have been designed and made like winches, booms, and rotating fork carriages, to enable the forklift to position materials more precisely. The booms or articulating booms are available in 2 different extendible arms and could reach up and over structures so as to position loads on interior roof slope settings or in the center of upper floors. New attachments and products are being designed and made all the time and would debut in the future.
With extra safety features becoming more prevalent, several improvements have been made. For instance, load-reach management devices can restrict the forklift's reach automatically, based on the load being handled rather than depending on the operator. Pressure sensors are utilized to be able to know the load weight. This information is sent to a small electronic memory device that had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
The boom's memory would compare the angle and the extension of the boom with the safety limits, when the load is being placed into position. There is a warning system or an important lock-up device that prevents the operator from over-reaching and potentially causing the forklift to tip over or the boom to fail.
