Established during 1920, FM GRU Tower Cranes began as a family business within the Northern Italy's biggest industrial place. In the 1950s, when the farming economy was evolving into an industrial and manufacturing economy, the company was working in welded construction industries and the metal structural sector. FMgru was involved in building pylons to convey electricity, bridges for roads, a wide range of forklifts, presses, prefabrication molds and farming equipments.
In 1963, the company began crane production. The company eventually invested all of their human resources and financial resources in this activity. The target of this streamlining was to reach the highest specialization level in the field of lifting.
Product Line
FMgru currently makes and sells 4 different series of tower cranes. These machinery are designed and engineered for a variety of applications and there are units available to cover all construction requirements.
Several models provide extremely flexible lifting options for companies that are constructing small buildings and private houses. Self-erecting cranes have 1200 to 4000 kg capacity and provide 22 to 40 meters jib range.
Topless tower cranes are among their other units. These cranes have upto 30 to 65 meters jib range and a running capacity of 1800 to 6000 kg. The fast erecting tower cranes are really adaptable and user friendly. They are suitable for minimizing interferences when there are many cranes working in the same building site.
Saddle-jib tower cranes provide a jib range of 58 to 80 meters. They have a running capacity of 6000 kg to 12000 kg. There are standard tower cranes that have no over sail restriction and are suitable for any construction or building project.
The Fdr56Luffing-jib cranes have 50 meter jibs and are outfitted with 12000 kg capacity. These cranes are specially designed to work in restricted sites and on high-rise projects where buildings are situated near each other.
